Employee Engagement

Times Foundation has instituted the Employee Volunteering program to provide employees with the platform to engage in and volunteer with some of the leading NGOs in the country. All this, towards making a difference to underprivileged living around us. Under this initiative, employees can choose to volunteer for underprivileged children, women empowerment, enabling the elderly and enhancing youth capability. Employees can utilise their knowledge and talents in education, vocational and life skills building and financial management, among other areas of expertise to make a difference to the lives of the needy.

Initiative for Bennett Touch

Mumbai, Date: 1st June, 2018:

Times Foundation has designed a unique program for Bennett Touch (HR's Initiative) to motivate the employees for their contribution through voluntary work as per their skills, expertise and areas of interest. The Art & Edit team provides training to NGOs (selected by Times Foundation) for activities like designing Brochure, Pamphlet and Newsletter etc. Currently, the team of Salaam Bombay Foundation is being trained under this initiative.

Sale of handmade products by NGO IPER SWADHINA in association with Times Foundation


In an initiative to promote vocational training among the underprivileged, the Times Foundation, in collaboration with the NGO IPER SWADHINA, was engaged in displaying handmade products made by the underprivileged children and women of that organization in The Times of India, Kolkata (S.N.Banerjee Road) branch. The products were various, ranging from dohars, bedcovers, stoles, shawls, aprons, jute and cloth bags to Paper based items. It witnessed a gathering of more than 50 employees within a span of just 2 hours and products were purchased and much appreciated by most of them. The revenue earned from this event has been directed towards the betterment of underprivileged, yet talented children, so that we may encourage them to further explore their capabilities.

• Diwali Celebrations- Donate a sari- Programme in support with the Police commissioner’s office and Parihar for destitute women undertaken in the month of December 2017.-Employees under the Bennet Touch programme took part in the donate a saree programme held for the destitute women on the occasion of Diwali. • Celebrating Christmas- Gift a joy to 15 young lesser privileged children with support of YWCA and APSA- month of December 2017. The employees under the Bennett Touch programme took part in the joy of giving programme, by donating toys and stationery to the lesser privileged children, they celebrated Christmas with them, the children showcased a small dance and music programme to mark the festivity and New year. • Revive Bengaluru- an environment awareness campaign, Employees under the Bennet Touch programme participated in the marathon to showcase their support in creating awareness towards a cleaner city-an environment initiative. - June 2017

Times Foundation launches a Donation Drive for Underprivileged Children

Location : AHMEDABAD, Month: March 2017 :

The Times Foundation launched a donation drive in collaboration with TIL. The drive was called, "Happiwali Feeling", wherein many employees donated their clothes, toys and stationary. The initiative was executed to help out the underprivileged children from different backgrounds and meet their daily and educational needs.

NGO Support Event: Showcasing Creativity Of Physically And Mentally Challenged Individuals

Location : Noida , Month : Aug 2016:

The Times Foundation in the month of August, undertook its regular exercise of NGO support with two partner non-governmental organizations called-Society for Child Development and Indha Foundation at the Times House, New Delhi. Many physically or mentally challenged women and young people made items like rakhis, bags and other art craft items. The money collected from the items was used for the underprivileged.

Independence Day Celebration At Prem Niwas

Location : Lucknow , Month : Aug 2016:

The Times Foundation, Lucknow on 15 August, on the occasion of Independence day celebrated with over two hundred orphans and underprivileged people residing in Prem Niwas- an Institute of missionaries of charity- Lucknow. The program began with the hoisting of national flag and a visit to Prem Niwas. The two hours were spent in having lunch and distributing consumable items to the people.

Rakshabandhan Stall By Andh Kanya Prakash In Ahmedabad

The Times Foundation employees in Ahmedabad supported the blind girls this rakshabandhan. The Andh Kanya Prakash Grah hoisted a stall of rakhis, made by the blind girls. The initiative was organized with the support of HR through a joint initiative, TSR.

Chennai Flood Relief


Ahmedabad employees supported the Chennai Flood Relief drive by donating relief materials with the support of HOPE Foundation.
