Times Foundation along with Aide-et-Action has organized a health screening camp at The Child Care & Learning Center at NBCC site, New Delhi.
The health camp was conducted in collaboration with Charak Palika Hospital, NDMC.
The participants in the camp included four doctors, four nursing staffs from Charak Palika Hospitals and hundreds of beneficiaries from the nearby community. More than hundred underprivileged were benefited by attending the camp.
Around 50 registrations were done for the medical facilities at Charak Palika Hospital, NDMC.
On the occasion of the Women’s Day, Times Foundation in partnership with Inorbit Mall and the support of Swakrutha Trust presents ‘The Women Entrepreneurs’, Bengaluru on Wednesday, 8th March 2017. It is a forum empowering women for a sustainable Livelihood. The dynamic and creative women entrepreneurs have been supported and encouraged in providing them an opportunity to showcase the products made by them, and to further stabilise their business through this programme.
Their stalls at the Inorbit Mall showcase a wide range of the products ranging from Jewellery, copperware, dohars, juteware, homedecor, kurtis, bags etc. The days event also has cookery specials, self-defence tips and finance literacy for all women.
The Women’s Day programme schedule on 8th March 2017 :
· Special stalls by women starts 11 AM onwards
· Women’s Day special event comprising of cookery, self-defence & financial literacy starts 4:30 PM onwards.

Being the caregiver of the family, women often end up neglecting their own health. Caught in everyday activities leaves women with little to no time for self-care. It is important to understand that ignoring their physical and emotional health can have adverse effect not only on their overall health and but also their ability to care for their loved one.
In this regard, Columbia Asia Hospitals in association with the Times Foundation is organising ‘Nurturing Womanhood’- a complementary health screening and health talk on the occasion of Women’s Day.
The health screening for all women will be available at all three Columbia Asia Hospital centres in the city namely Whitefield, Hebbal, and Yeshwanthpur on 8th March, 2017 starting from 8 am to 5 pm. The health screening will include test for Body Mass Index (BMI), Total Cholesterol, Random Blood Sugar, ECG and Mammogram (for women above 45 years of age). It will also include consultation with a dietician highlighting the do’s & dont’s of healthy eating and a fitness assessment by a physiotherapist.
Educative health talk – “The Millennial Women” by Doctors of Columbia Asia Hospitals at Whitefield, Hebbal & Yeshwanthpur on 11th March, 2017 between 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The health talk will give an overview on all stages of Women’s life.
